Well, if you are going to be at Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival you might as well go big and forget about the calories! And that is just what we did when we tried the Maple Bacon Funnel Cake!
We found this delicious new treat at the American Adventure Kiosk
The maple bacon funnel cake is made fresh right when you order and is topped with powdered sugar, then topped with a slab of maple ice cream and sprinkled with candied bacon! As soon as we walked away with our tasty creation to find a shady spot to eat, we got a lot of reaction from people passing by asking what and where did we get it!
We have to say this funnel cake was pure sugary joy! We especially loved the sweet taste of the maple ice cream that melted right into the nooks and crannies of the funnel cake. And the candied bacon was the perfect crunchy topping!
So if you happen to find yourself at the Epcot Food and Wine festival this year be sure to stop by America and enjoy this sweet treat to share…or maybe have it all to yourself!
